Alex Hale
Owner/Co-Founder
With his experience as a former Division I, two-way player & drafted professional, Coach Hale spends a lot of time with his athletes on the psychological aspects of the game as well as the physical. With 13 years of coaching experience, he specializes in Catching, Pitching & Hitting instruction, as well as Strength & Conditioning.

Hale was born & raised in Omaha, NE, where he was the starting catcher for 3 years on a varsity team that won two-state championships & garnering Gatorade POY honors as a junior. He earned a scholarship to play for the University of Richmond Spiders. Hale started as a true freshman at catcher batting .292, throwing out 44% of runners, including 77% in conference, while also serving as a relief pitcher with a 1.64 ERA.

Hale would go onto play in the prestigious Cape Cod League & be drafted by the Anaheim Angels & Boston Red Sox. You can read more about him here.
Ryan Ahart
Co-Founder/Director of Player Development
Ahart grew up in Omaha, playing his high school ball for the Ralston Rams. With 20 years of coaching experience, he is widely regarded as one of the top infield instructors in the Midwest, while also specializing in Hitting & Pitching instruction.

Ryan wears many hats for CHIPS beyond just the training side, handling video & data analysis, website management & advising program design.
​
In addition, Ahart is also the Infield Coordinator for the Nebraska Prospects, Assistant coach for the Elkhorn South Varsity baseball team, while also working with various youth teams throughout Omaha.

Syd Driggs
Director of Performance Operations
Syd is a diehard Philadelphia sports fan who joins our team after serving as director for the Papillion LaVista Schools Foundation. She coordinates daily operations of the facility, managing everything behind the scenes, including training sessions, camps, player evaluations & workouts.
​
In addition, Driggs also handles all of our data-capture & tracking for our player development programs while serving as our social media coordinator.
Darrell Parks
Performance Specialist
Darrell brings a wealth of knowledge to our performance team in all areas of the game, most specifically hitting, strength & conditioning, and mental training. Parks served as an asst coach under Frank Ryan at Millard West for 14 years, scouted for the Atlanta Braves and currently coaches the Nebraska Prospects.
Darrell oversees our CHIPS hitting protocols & programming, in addition to assessing our swing capture data & video analysis.
Travis Baily
Performance Specialist
Travis' passion for the game and the gym stems from family line. With his family supporting him on his way, he has found a passion for putting the players first.
Travis played baseball at Elkhorn High school, and then continued his academic and athletic career at Wayne State College.
